Clinical Aromatherapy is a holistic approach to healthcare and can be used to encourage healing, as well as a preventative measure. It may encourage the immune system to work at its optimum level whilst promoting relaxation and reducing stress. It can be used side-by-side with other complementary therapies and with conventional treatments.
In Clinical Aromatherapy I use therapeutic grade essential oils, through massage, to address a wide range of conditions. I select the essential oils based on the condition being treated, the chemical properties of the oils in relation to the client before me. For example, muscular spasms may be treated with rosemary, marjoram, cypress and lemon essential oils. Conditions that can be treated include IBS, depression, eczema, candida, stress and muscular issues, to name but a few.
Aromatherapy massage also offers ion and the opportunity to unwind, de-stress and take some ‘time out’.
A full consultation is taken at the first appointment. Treatments are suitable for all, including children, pregnant women, the elderly and frail.
