Reiki is a form of spiritual healing and is originally from Japan it is derived
from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means
“Energy”. Reiki is not a religious practice. It is not and it is not based on any
form of belief system . Reiki is a type of energy work using spiritually channelling
life force energy.
Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things we are all energy .
A session is usually 45 minutes long. You will be lying down on a heated couch
totally relaxed. I perform Reiki with hands on so I will place my hands on various
parts of your body I will discuss this wit you prior to the treatment.
Reiki is a great benefit for stress management and relaxation. Many people find a
peace and calmness that only Reiki can offer although I use it with many clients
who are going through a range of illnesses, it is not a cure for illness but it is
a complement treatment that works along side traditional medicine .
Reiki can help you to feel re balanced, give you total relaxation and emotional
balance, it can also help with feelings of anxiety and stress.
In order to obtain the Maxine benefit of the session try to go home and relax after
the session and refrain if possible from tea and coffee and ,drink plenty of water .
